Deciding on changing to Flash

It took me very long to think, but I have made up my mind to do flash instead as there are not many things that a html can do. So, I did up some actionscript codes to make my flash be more interesting.

Progression

My supervisor just sent an email that we are going to have to meet up to discuss about the progression on my portfolio. I am not sure if she will be satisfied with what I have, because I have not completed the background yet, and I am not sure what I should put in the home page. My sketches page is also not done yet, because I could not find any suitable pictures to put into that page. Up until now, I have done most of the design and added in some of the information about myself, and the animations I have done.

Final Submission

OH NO! The deadline of the PD submission is nearing soon! Its on June, but I'm still doing it so slowly because of work and it is so tiring. However, I managed to look through the pictures that I took during the holidays and when I was at my internship. I think that these are the pictures that do portray how a person is feeling. However, there are some pictures of just scenery, as I think that these pictures are able to show how I was feeling at the time I took those pictures. Besides that, after inserting the pictures into the website, it did not align properly and I spent almost half an hour trying to edit the pictures to fit.

Start of a new term

Its already the new term of school, and the first week has already passed. As for my portfolio, I managed to put in a game, and some animations for the website. I also include information about me. It took me some time to figure out where to put what and I realised that I should put the categories as according to what I think is better, and how it would be placed.

Finding suitable pictures

It was one month of internship and it was very tiring, and I had not enough time to do my portfolio for that whole month. However, when I got back to the website, I immediately started thinking of what pictures to put as my background and how my navigation would look like. However, none of the pictures I had with me really worked, so I just replaced it with a coloured background in the first place.

Creating the design

I tried many different ways to create the website, but later feel that by using css, it would be much easier and cleaner to read and so that I will not get confused if anything goes wrong with the website. I think that the website should be of a bright colour, because it is meant to show what type of a person I am, so I decided to use the colours that I think would suit my personality best.

Starting PD again

Since the last time I posted, I have not started on my portfolio yet. There were so many things to do in class as well. However, I tried making some time for it and I tried thinking of how my portfolio should be like. I decided to create a simple website for my portfolio and I might use flash to recreate it if the html version is not that good.
